This course is designed for students who are aiming for excellence in everything they do. If you are getting achieved or lower in Year 10 PE CAM Assessments then the PEP programme may be more appropriate for you. It is a mixture of practical & theory (same amount of practical as PEP!). Students are expected to be in a school sports team to support their Performance Achievement Standard Credits. All students are expected to complete the school Cross Country. There may be an optional overnight camp!?
The full year will involve practical participation in various activities & games with a focus on interpersonal skills & participation. Possible camp.
Basketball focus for Biophysical understanding. Verbal assessment at end of term.
VolleyBall focus with assessment ongoing. Biophysical.
Tidy up / completion of any assessment. No exams!
Contributions and Equipment/Stationery
Possible Class camp / trip for students to demonstrate interpersonal skills. May be at a local beach or river!?
Recommended Prior Learning
Merit or higher marks in all Year 10 PE assessment.
Total Credits Available: 20 credits.
Internally Assessed Credits: 20 credits.
