L1 Physical Education Performance
Teacher in Charge: Mr Fraser
This course is designed for students with a practical focus but who are willing to complete associated theory (1 theory lesson per week just like PEX! more theory if students need more time to complete work). Students must demonstrate self management skills, interpersonal skills, participate positively and complete the school Cross Country to be eligible for credits. Assessment is on-going during full year & credits will be awarded at the end of the year. Students can get a subject endorsement in this class! Students are expected to be playing in a School Sport to contribute to their performance AS.
Students will be involved in a variety of practical activities / games during the full year & it is their positive participation that is the key to success.
Contributions and Equipment/Stationery
PE Gear, Possible Class Trip to demonstrate the above skills (there would be a cost).
Recommended Prior Learning
As junior students they must have demonstrated a willingness to get involved and give their best in activities set by their teacher and be willing to follow PE department guidelines.Students must have completed all CAM assessment in year 10.
This course is eligible for subject endorsement.
This course is approved for University Entrance.
Total Credits Available: 15 credits.
