L1 Physical Education Performance (L1PEP)

Course Description

Teacher in Charge: Mr A. Castelli.


This course is designed for students who are a little less academically focused but still want to get L1 Credits.

It is very practical with 1 theory lesson per week. 

Students must be willing to participate in all activities.


Course Overview

Term 1
Practical activities mixed with theory sessions. (3 practical 1 theory / week as long as students are making sufficient progress).
Students not willing to engage in theory sessions will be asked to leave.

Term 2
As above.
If students are falling behind they may be removed from practical until they have caught up.

Term 3
As above.

Term 4
Assessment completion.

Recommended Prior Learning

Y10 Final PE report must not say that you are not suitable for L1PE.  Must have shown a willingness to get changed & get involved!  

Contributions and Equipment/Stationery

PE Gear, Possible Class Trip??? to demonstrate the above skills (there would be a cost).
