Course Description
DESIGN & VISUAL COMMUNICATION (GRAPHICS) (10DVC)
This course is mainly skills based and concentrates on all the different drawing and presentation skills and touches on a bit of design and evaluation at the end of the year.
The skills covered are:
•Freehand sketching
•Rapid rendering
•Isometric drawing
•Geometric shapes and solids construction
•Orthographic drawing
•Modeling
•Design
•Evaluation
The design project at the end of the option will require the students to utilize all the skills learnt during the year.
