Course Description

The course focuses on accounting as a financial language for partnerships and companies, as well as manufacturing businesses. 

Level 3 Accounting is a course for students who intend to pursue a future career in Finance, Business, Management or specifically Accounting. A greater emphasis is placed upon decision making and reporting, as well as the statutory requirements of accounting entities, such as partnerships and companies.


Recommended Prior Learning

Entry will be given to students who have gained Level 2 NCEA with at least 14 credits in both Level 2 English and Mathematics. L2ACC or L2BUS is recommended but not compulsory.
