L2 Mathematics Internal (L2MTI)

The intention of this course is to provide a wide base of Mathematics topics for those students considering a trade through polytech or an apprenticeship. Students who successfully pass the Statistical Inference internal and the Probability external can also enter L3 Mathematics with Statistics. The content of this course will reflect the wide range of skills the students may be required to have in a range of fields. Also for Vocational training courses preparing students for hospitality, building, mechanics, NZ defence forces and many other occupations requiring the understanding of L2 Mathematics. Leads to L3MTS or L3MTI course at Year 13.
